Embodied Couture Living: Using Online Influence as Art

Embodied Couture Living: Using Online Influence as Art, LVBX Magazine
Couture Living means curated and intentional living. Living with mindfulness of your desires, wants, and what it also takes to get there. One of the most fascinating aspects of living today is how we can curate our lives with technology. You will see influencers, lifestyle bloggers, and companies share content that is reminiscent of a certain lifestyle.

Some more cozy, some more high-end, some minimal. And they are all appealing to a certain kind of audience. I would argue that this content creation, and instilling different experiences supports leaders in radically conscious self-expression. Online content is totally used as a tool of embodiment and feeling into desires.

So as a feminine leader – is the content that you are taking in – online magazines, print, books, experiences, foods, music, clothing – are they all in alignment with your desires and what you want? If not, take time today and shift into your intentionally designed lifestyle. Here are some ways you can do that now:

Mood Boards

Use Pinterest or old magazines to connect with the feeling of your brand, company, desired lifestyle. Examine how it feels, tastes, smells, all of it. This is where you can really tune into your imagination and vision for your life. I take my clients through this process of personal branding (which may shift and change after it is realized) and it is such a fun energy to feel into and play with!

Declutter

Take time to toss everything that does not align with the vision of your life. You can be the designer of your life by connecting to the mood, the feeling, and the aesthetic – but it also helps to create space for it. You cannot build on an old foundation. Start fresh.

Community

It is said that you are the average of the five people you spend the most time with. Especially as women, we are social and tribal creatures. We mirror back to each other our successes and failures. Why not surround yourself intentionally with a community of people that vibe with your mood board, your aesthetic, and what you are moving towards? It will definitely get you there quicker.

Legacy

Everyone today has the opportunity of building a platform, of sharing good things, of making your art and your radically conscious self-expression seen. So what is the legacy that you want to leave behind with the embodied living you are putting out both in real space and online space? Connect with that and give value. Connect with the feeling that you would love to instill in others because it is said… most people will forget what you did or said, but they will remember how you made them feel!
