For fiction, I’m reading Swing Time by Zadie Smith.

Nonfiction, I’m reading The Hour of Land: A Personal Topography of America’s National Parks by Terry Tempest Williams

And I always have poetry on my bedside table.

I have books that stay on my morning table: Kitchen Table Wisdom by Rachel Remen and The Compassionate Presence by Stephen Schwartz, and a few others that I rotate in and out like A Return to Love by Marianne Williamson, The Four Agreements by Don Miguel Ruiz, and Traveling Mercies by Anne Lamott, to name a few.

I also LOVE Gift from the Sea by Anne Morrow Lindbergh, mentioned by Maryann!

Reading for fun– like novels–I just read The Girl On The Train by Paula Hawkins, I know I am late to that game. I’m also re-reading The Shack by William P. Young for the fourth time (in preparation for the movie!)

Waiting for me on my nightstand is A Man Called Ove: A Novel by Fredrik Backman

ISABELLE RIZZO, Contributing Editor

Currently, I’m reading The Big Leap: Conquer Your Hidden Fear and Take Life to the Next Level by Gay Hendricks after many people recommended it to me.

I just finished Walk Through Walls: A Memoir, which is Marina Abramovic’s biography. My favorite artist and inspiration for my own performance work.

TISHA MORRIS, Contributing Editor

It Didn’t Start With You: How Inherited Family Trauma Shapes Who We Are and How to End the Cycle by Mark Wolynn

Love Warrior: A Memoir by Glennon Doyle Melton

MELINDA BRADY, Contributing Editor

I have a few books next to my bed at the moment:

Levels of Life by Julian Barnes. It’s a beautiful book about love and loss, intimacy and grief.

Between You and Me: Confessions of a Comma Queen by Mary Norris. It’s a book filled with tales about the usage of grammar. Being a person who hates using punctuation, it never fails to make me laugh.

I have been trying to plow through Alan Greenspan’s The Age of Turbulence: Adventures in a New World. That one may take rest of my life.
